Proceeds from this year’s Annual Benefit will support the implementation of key security upgrade recommendations identified through a comprehensive campus security assessment conducted over the past three months. The initiatives below reflect our continued commitment to strengthening campus safety and preparedness. This page outlines the improvements already underway as well as our goals for the next phase of upgrades:

  • Hold an 8 hour active shooter training for all teachers and staff (Completed October 2025)

  • Install new, upgraded gates at all entry points (ordered and to be installed within weeks)

  • Raise a 15–20 foot section of the Junior Kindergarten playground fence to complete the full perimeter enhancement

  • Equip every classroom with first aid and trauma-response kits

  • Reinforce or replace windows and doors in exterior classrooms

  • Add an additional security camera monitoring station

  • Install industrial-grade first aid kits adjacent to AED machines in each building

  • Apply 3M safety film to windows not previously covered (including the Community Center east entrance)

  • Extend the intercom system to reach the west playground

  • Install a panic button in the main office

  • Purchase and prepare communication equipment and supplies for a future on-campus security officer

These upgrades represent a proactive, layered approach to campus safety—focused on prevention, response, and communication—to ensure a secure learning environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Future Goals include:

  • A full overhaul and upgrade of all cameras on campus- (Grant information pending)
  • Upgrade and replacement of entire intercom system campus wide
